Here's an incredibly lucky shot I got during a shoot under the stars -

A plane flying right through the center of the Milky Way!

I usually start off the night by taking a few test shots to make sure everything is in focus and exposure is where I want it. Most of the time, these images will be generic pictures of a dark sky with a few stars in it..maybe the moon to set focus on. On this night, that very first "test" image turned out to be the shot of the night!
