Truth be told this is the canon 2.8 version I (on my 60D).. ill be going with the Tamron if i include that in my purchase..

lol, yeha, pretty much.. my friend picked up a Tammy and im jut comparing those photos to mine. Its mostly a budget thing, tammy and 2 L's and new body perhaps vs maybe one L and same body :)

Might well be, but shooting with the canon to get a feel for the tamron doesn't really equate. Nor would test driving a civic prepare you for purchasing a corolla.
