Ventured down to this place for the first time yesterday after finding out about it from my good friend Google and I was amazed at how much wildlife activity there was! Here are a few shots I was able to grab with my 40D + 70-200/4 (I'm not sure what all of the birds are, so IDs are appreciated!)
As always, C&C is welcomed. Thanks for looking.
1. Anginha
2. Purple Gallinule
3. Palm Warbler (thanks Al for the ID)
4. Pied-Billed Grebe (thanks Al for the ID)
5. Female Mallard (thanks Lee for the ID)
6. Male Mottled Duck (thanks Lee for the ID)
Extra: Great Blue Heron feeding it's young with the Anhinga in foreground, not a great shot, but it was the best angle I could get of the action!
