I had the privilege to spend several days in Tanzania in various national parks. Here is a sample of my results....I primarily learned...how much I have to learn I discovered how amazing birds were when I went to Namibia - now I have a new found appreication for the birds in my own back yard like I never did in the past, especially the raptors.

My guide knew I liked the Lilac-Breasted Rollers so he stopped for just about each one we encountered to ensure that I got the opportunity for some nice shots of these iconic East Africa birds

Very nice set, but I really like that Chanting Goshawk.

Thank you - glad you enjoyed them. I'm so looking for an excuse to go back soon. I am especially enthralled with all the raptors that inhabit Africa. Now I'm trying to learn about all the ones here in my region - so much I have missed just going overhead :-) Cheers!
