Possible Canon 7D fault

If it is not the card, then I think it has to go in. I can't see how the sensor could do this. More likely something in the electronics.

It almost looks as some kind of electronic interference. Definitely try a new card.

if yo ucant get the link bck, check that thread I posted, I think they did find it was the sensor going bad.

i dont think its the card because in live view mode with no card in it i can see the bands on the LCD screen

yeah, it is probably a data channel that isn't being read then. Sucks.

Hopefully you can get a refund on it.

well they stated specificaly that the shutter count was 6000 - its 1750 and they said that it was in perfect working condition and its not so ill try and be nice and ask for a exchange or money back or dispute it,

thanks for all the help damn annoying i must add, would you recommend staying away from the 2nd hand camera market?
