I finaly got to do a cake smash the other day. I was hoping for more of a mess *shrug* maybe the cake wasn't very good. I did some Practice shots and I think the flash was bothering her so I turned my flash all the way down and turned my iso up. Shot with 5dm2 + 24-70 and I also wanted to show a set up shot to help with the C and C. Thanks

Thank you. This was my gf's coworker's baby. I really wanted them to come to my house so I could set up something I knew would look good but they insisted I come to them. I had never been to there house before so I was really nervous about finding a good spot to set up. Lucky they had this nice wall, baseboard and hardwood floor combo which I think looks really good. My backup plan was bringing a white backdrop which was safe but isn't ideal.

In post all I did was crop. Most were crooked so I just used the baseboard as reference. Other then that I used Edit>Transform>Scale to extend the background a few times.
