I'n struggling with the new photomatix. The 4.0 I had set perfectly for my real estate photography but I am having a hard time with my settings on having my photos look real. There all turning out soft looking and not real looking. I'm using the default settings.


Canon 5D MKII, TS-E 17Lmm, 100Lmm Macro,24-70Lmm, 70-200LIImm

Interesting. I thought Photomatix 5 had a special presets for real estate. Go back to version 4 and look at your settings and see if you can use the same settings in 5. If not go back to using 4. Personally I like 5 but I didn't have any presets defined in 4.
