My terrible Canon 50mm/EF1.4 first experiense

I use my 50 1.4 at 1.4-1.8 frequently with my 6D. I often shoot in TV mode and vary my S S as needed.
AF -ai servio work well for me at wide apertures.

I should probably say why I said why shoot in TV over AV considering it caused a bit of a riot LOL. I was talking specifically for this case. Maybe I haven't learned something properly, but I wouldn't be shooting things on a table (as he said he was) in TV mode.

Maybe I missed something though?

"Kanye," much like the rapper himself, apparently thinks that his way is the only right way to do things. Some people don't like to shoot manual exposure, manual focus through a tiny DSLR viewfinder with no split prism and actually take advantage of technological improvement. Tv has its uses, though for my purpose I prefer Av most of the time. Now can we get back to talking about how bad the Canon 50 sucks and when version II is coming out?

kanye was answering shutter attacks question of "Confused at why one would be shooting at TV? Try AV." with a question of "for fast action?"

then for some odd reason vengence decided that nobody in their right mind would use TV for fast action(for some reason he assumes that for fast action you must only use the fastest shutter speed possible)

vengence is the only one talking about using the fastest shutter speed possible, everyone else is talking about using a certain shutter speed...

at no point does kanye say how his way is the only way/right way...he never even told us what way he shoots...

Did you read the rest of what his "problem" was? OP was expecting the lens to produce brighter photos than his other lenses, even when it was stopped down... how was your input in any way shape or form helpful? The problem had absolutely NOTHING to do with his lens, it had everything to do with how he was taking the shot.
