Winter Robins

We have an amazing number of year round robins this year. It seems strange to see them in the treetops in winter.
Here are a few in the upper branches of a sumac this afternoon.

I'm still getting used to handling the 100-400L lens. I can see where even a monopod would be a great help. I can't believe how challenging it is to hold it steady.
