I would like to make an attempt to shoot some hockey with my 5D2. Im new to video, had this thing for 4 years now and never shot video yet so forgive me if my questions seem dumb. Anyways I know what I'm doing photo wise. Ive shot thousands of great images mainly with my 1D mark 2 and some fast primes. I mainly use the 135L and 200 2.8 L. Now with these lens on my 1D mark2 I have no problem getting 1/640th in the arena wide open even overexposing one stop @ iso 800 (Its well lit). Now if I'm shooting video I believe I can have my shutter speed at 1/60th of a second? Even 1/125th? Planning to shoot 30 frames per second If thats the case that will bring exposure very bright and therefore can I use my 70-200L f4? If I can reduce my shutter speed that much I would think I can use a slower lens since a have some leeway here. I just was thinking I can get away with using my 70-200 f4 on the 5D since I wont be needing the fast shutter speed like 1/640th for video. Will the action be blurry at 1/60th or 1/125th? Never shot hockey video before. Plan on using a tripod. Out of the three lense which would you shoot with. I also have the 24-105 but I dont know if that will be any good in this situation. I also have a Rode Video mic, should I even bother with that in an arean? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
