Ok I am redoing my basement so everything is upstairs in boxes. i have to find my spyder4 kit to try and calibrate the screen.

so I have little experience with it.. bought the kit and never really used it.. go figure story of my life..

anyway.. does the Spyder4 Pro kit work well with touchscreens?
Anyone Calibrate a screen like this as there is no buttons to adjust menu items for the screen???

I edited a pic and it looked kina ok but then when i got to work.. OUCHERS!!!!

way over exposed!!!!

fyi my camera has sat for many months and thought let me get it out and see if it is charged up so this pic is really no biggie and was just a taker for hellz sake..

I viewed the image in my SP2 now & I agree with you it's overexposed, especially on the snow, total white.

I actually used my old Spyder3 to calibrate both my SP2 & desktop.

Well technically you can adjust the SP2 monitor brightness via the Type/Touch Cover 2 keys (F1 & F2 buttons), but not the contrast.

So, yes, Spyder should work all right to calibrate your SP2 monitor.

I wouldn't depend on your Spyder 4 to "tone down" the brightness. Pretty much the first bit of "tweaking" I do to a new monitor is to run down the Brightness control. I don't know anything about what's available on touchscreens such as the "SP2", though...
