Hi all,

Here's a shot taken looking over Great Oyster Bay in Swansea, Tasmania. Taken back in December 2011, but recently reprocessed using LR5.

Hi Stephen.

I like your photograph. I have one similar with the sun coming through the clouds that I shot in Alaska. I can't make it look as good as you did with LR. Can you give me an idea of what your LR process was?

Thank You
Denny

Hi Denny,

My LR changes were to boost contrast quite a bit, reduce the highlights and boost the foreground shadows a bit, increase both vibrance and saturation, and then use split toning to enhance the yellow in the beams (highlights). The overall exposure was good in the starting RAW file, so I didn't need to alter that. In this case the beams were very clear to the naked eye, which made processing easier I think.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Stephen
