Software to stabilize a moving object?

Hi all,

I am looking for software that can stabilize a moving object in the middle of the picture, e.g. a bird flying or a ball bouncing. I would prefer freeware ;)

Hope some of you can help me.

There is a stabilization option in my Serif MoviePlus X6 it was also in X5,and I presume may also be in there freeby version

The best one is prodad mercalli, but unfortunately it's not freeware.
