I basically have the lenses that I want with the exception of the 70-200 is II. But I think my limiting factor has more to due with noise so my next upgrade will most likely be a camera. I bought the 50d when it first came out since I love sports but since i live overseas in asia they just dont have any sports that I really fancy shooting. So with prob 5 years of experience shooting I realize that I shoot plants and people. All my shots of landscapes are just kinda boring to my eyes unless there is a person also in the pic. So I dont think the 5d3 is necessary when the 6d should be fine in most situations and is cheaper. The sony however has a few benefits over canon but that means I will be using manual more and I dont know how easy that is to master. Another thing that really makes me consider the sony is the fact that apparently its quite small. I havent seen one in person yet where i live (a bit remote) but if the a7r and the new sony 55 1.8 could fit in my jacket pocket than that means i would be carrying it around with me alot more often. If I take my 50d anywhere its for the purpose of taking pictures and planning with friends to take pictures. Obviously if im taking my canon lenses then the size of the a7r doesnt really make a difference. Just curious on the opinions of others in case ive totally missed something

On a side note since the a7r drains the battery pretty quick wouldnt it be possible to buy an external usb battery charger (pack) that people use for their phones? Sorry im not quite sure what its called in english haha

6D; canon 85mm 1.8, Tamron 24-70mm VC, Canon 135L Canon 70-200L is ii

Get a 6D.
The Sony w Canon Lens is a fry cry.
The Sony w Sony Lens is better but will only fit in a normal pocket as a bulge.

Only an A7 with 35 2.8 would fit in a large coat pocket. The 55 1.8 is actually kind of long when you compare it to something like a Canon 50 1.4 (2.78" vs 2" long).

The Sony A7R (and I assume the A7 as well) creates beautiful files. I think the ergonomics are beyond terrible. The guy at the camera store next to me was **** about a lack of a charger, or something like that. As a 6D owner, I have never felt that my body limited me, even though on paper the Sony sensors are much better.
