I'm not talking about the female Cooper's Hawk per se; she's a regular in my backyard. What led me to share these images is the snow in the background :) I couldn't pass up the opportunity to record the scene even though it's through a couple of extra pieces of non-L glass. BTW - it was 12F at my house this morning. Surely you didn't expect a wimpy Southerner like myself to be outside in this weather ;)

Oh my word those eyes are intense! You can keep the snow down there. We have had our fill of ice and cold temperatures. Not much snow so far, but the year is young!

Great shot, and I feel your pain. No snow here in Florida but real close. Temps in the 30's.

Haha Jeff...as long as I only had to see your yard that'd be fine :)

True on so many levels John; and I appreciate the compliment too.

Yes Ian, I've seen a lot of "bird in snow" images from the North and been happy to enjoy them from afar. Thanks as always for your comments.

Yes Sandy, even here I think the year is young. They're predicting more here in about a week....you sure you don't want some? :) Always appreciate your comments too.

I'm not sure "congrats" is the right word Craig, but I'll take it for now; and thank you kindly for your nice words.

LOL Cheryl, I'm always excited to see her pass through but I'd bet the other birds would beg to differ :) Your comments are mighty kind.

Thank you A1; and it has been a strange Winter here and there so far hasn't it. More to come I'm afraid!
