I very new to talking pictures of people. I've been mainly focused on wildlife since I started. But, now with my daughter, I have to learn this aspect as well. Any comments and critiques would be welcome.

She's a tad right to my licking. put some more negative space on the right. center her up just a hair more but not completely center.

First thing I noticed was how shallow the DOF was. Was that with the 1.4? IMO I would like her to be completely in focus and the background being blurry.

I totally disagree. I love the image other than the composition as already mentioned above. Well done!
