It will be interesting to see if this happens. It would be great to have improved AF, higher ISO handling, and more FPS.....and maybe a few more pixels. I guess other candidates are wifi and GPS.

Best part of a 7dII would be the price drop of a 7d original. Then I could pick up one for a second body!

Sounds like a new topic? Short answer is no, at least not at the raw level. The jpg engine is different in the newer models though so out of camera jpgs would be much better.

Commonly referred to as a SWAG (silly-wild-A$$-guess). Canon rumors usually predicts upcoming products just after the manufacturer's press release very accurately. The rest of the site, like SNAPSORT, is garbage. The 7D2 will be at BestBuy when CR tells you about it's real release.

All they need to do it is make it better at high ISO(compared to modern cameras) and it would be a winner. I think most don't need more FPS and more than 18MP.

It's almost going to be 5 years, but it's still such a phenomenal camera.

Mine is almost 6 years old, still going strong. But yes, definitely need better high ISO performance and incorporate the new AF system... then I'm in.

Yes, you have to report the thread though otherwise it may take a while for the mods to notice it.
