I noticed this green line across my images in post today. It appears on both my CF and SD card so I've ruled out bad cards.
I've checked and this did not appear on images shot before today.
It may be a little difficult to see but a few inches above the door handles there is a thin green line that crosses the picture.
I'm a CPS member so it's going to Canon I'd just like to give them an idea of what this is.
This is my 1D MKIV.
Thanks in advance for any information.
Ed

No. I was doing water drop stuff today and did extensive flash stuff but that's it

Sure looks like one of those examples

Strange as it may seem it does not show up on any photos with the lens cap on.
I took shots at ISO 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400 and 12800. Simply a black image.
If I take the lens cap off and shoot the closet door or wall it's there.

You have a green colored piece of thread strung directly across the lens........ haha

Seriously though, I hope it's not a bad sensor.

Cheers,

One row of green photo-sites got stuck to on. With no light, it doesn't get excited. More proper test, photograph a white page. I think it will still be there.

Try the manual cleaning routine. It might re-set the row. Otherwise, I am afraid it's off to Canon. :(

Does it only happen at the area where the door is?

You could have some RF/EM interference localized to that area. Especially if it doesn't happen elsewhere.
