Retired and beautifully restored aircraft maintained by the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation. Free to enjoy with a ginormous monetary donation case upon entering. Dropped $5 and went on my way.
So many aircrafts to shoot, military related history to read, watch, and see. I could spend an entire day here but I was with the fam so I had to be quick with the shots, these are what I came away with.

1. F2H-2 Banshee

Interesting shots. It looks like the Corsair could use a wash job.

Thanks for sharing. I've been wanting to see this for awhile.

Too bad some of the classic planes (Corsair, for example) can't be stored indoors.

BTW, a friend of my dad was a gunner on a Dauntless Dive Bomber during WWII. While on Guadalcanal he was issued a pair of aircraft "spotter cards". Each card has a Coca-Cola image on the front, and a silhouette of an enemy aircraft on the other.

When I was a teenager, he gave the deck of cards to me as a gift. I'm thinking of donating them to a museum. I'll keep the Leatherneck Aviation Museum in mind.

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

Wow that's awesome. The Leatherneck Aviation Museum also has a lot of vintage collectables inside that I didn't get a chance to really take in but those cards sound sweet!
