Took my son out to watch the speedway last night. I haven't been for 20 years and thought I'd take a few shots until it got dark. There are a couple of Aussie internationals in this bunch, but I'm not a real follower of Speedway so sorry I can't name them.
The sun was real hot in the last 30 minutes, and I notice a lot of those shots are real "in your face" The last one of the 3 junior riders is a classic example. Any ideas on how to calm them down a little ? I messed with WB to cool it some but I didn't seem to get what I was trying to do which is calm them down a little. Should I cool it off in WB then bring out the colours a tad or given the fact the sun was indeed red, leave it like that and just knock back some saturation?....or leave them as is? I made some B&W out of the real bad retina burners! I thought the late sun would be my friend, but it was so strong
First time shooting speedway so any C&C good or bad will be appreciated. I have some sidecar shots but I might throw them into a new thread.
