Kurri Kurri Speedway Sidecars 19-02-14

As per the solo thread I started, here are some shots of these crazy dudes and dude-ettes!

I like the short track that is speedway as you can see all around the track from the one spot. All of these were from the same spot give or take a couple of meters. Apart from a few official photogs and some marshals, the infield is relatively clean.

More great shots. I think the last two capture the action very well.

For those that don't know, these things run litre sized sports bikes engines so they certainly aren't slow down the straight! From memory the race times are a couple of seconds slower than the solos however as their mid corner speed is where they seem to lose time. I missed a shot of one of the guys wheel standing the thing down the length of the straight during the warm up.
