Hi, i have got a couple of thousand pics on my pc and i worry about a virus which would wipe them out, what does everyone else do? do you just copy all to disc or is there a better way for backup storage? kind regards:o

Secondly, I also burn a couple of dvd's, one of which I keep, the other one goes to an entirely different location. That way, in case of theft or fire, I'm covered.

CDs and DVDs regularly fail. Yes I mean copy the images to an external, portable hard drive, and keep that hard drive someone safe outside of your house - in case the house burns down or you get burgled.
