The conditions were harsh since I didnt get there til 9am but I still managed.    Curved-Billed Thrasher on prickly perch  Verdin Male  Spotted Towhee (darn branch)  Black Tailed Gnatcatcher (I think)  Western Bluebird (a bird I don't often see)

Not be cause the 100-400 is heavy but because I think it gives me a bit more sharpness and I can run a bit lower shutter if needed. That was my first guess. I have wanted to get into bird photography for awhile and was just wondering if you used one or not. Canon 6D, & Sony α6000
