There is so much good information here on POTN and on YouTube, that I have resisted any of the subscription photo training sites. But I have learned so much from the Strobist site and I like David Hobby's work so much (and his sense of humor), I am strongly considering purchasing his DVD. I like the idea of supporting someone who has provided so much good information to the community for free, too, and the price sounds fair.

Has anyone else purchased this? Pretty good volume of material in it? I've pretty much decided to pull the trigger, just checking here to see if there are a couple other happy purchasers for confirmation.

Thanks.

Thanks! Good enough for me. I'm going to order it. I appreciate the opinion.

No problem :)

Jared Polin recently released his flash guide - check this one out: http://froknowsphoto.com/flashguide/ (external link)

You might also like the One Light DVD series by Zack Arias. He is no longer selling them, but you'll find a copy on ebay from time to time.

I'm not looking to start a collection, I just want the Strobist DVD, and I'd like to support him by paying for it.
