Some New England Shots

Hi everyone,

Don't post many photos but I took a trip to the New England states this past September and October so I thought I would post a couple of shots I like. comments always welcome.

I like both of these. It's always appreciated if the locations are identified.

Nice images, really like the composition of the 2nd one with the reflection in the rock pool.

Fantastic composition on the second shot with the reflection. Touches like that really show that the photographer took some time in setting up the shot and help pull it all together. What's the shutter speed on the first shot?

Thanks and sorry for not providing the locations I will keep that in mind next time. The first shot was at Bingham Falls Vermont and the lighthouse is the Pemaquid Lighthouse in Maine.

Thanks for the comments. The waterfall was shot at f11 for 2.5 seconds.

Thanks, I've somehow missed those places.

The lighthouse photo is great. At first look I thought of Pemaquid as I was there during a Maine Photographic Workshop about 30 years ago.

The 1st one is great, the second one is fantastic (to my taste it lacks just of some vignetting & colors adjustment to have more impact). Did you use a tilt-shift lens or ultra-wide with perspective correction ?

Thanks I used a Sigma 18-35 on a 7d body and corrected perspective in Lightroom.
