My first 10D photo with a $ 50 macrolens

I wish it would be a bit less windy, getting focus was a nightmare. I used the 10D with a 35-105 lens (older type) manual focus and plugged in front a Raynox DCR-250 macro adaptor costing arround $ 50,00.

Hope you like it, it's my first effort with the 10D.

Great shot with a good amount of detail... make sure that shutter speed is high enough to stop that shake. Using fill flash helps a lot, especially off camera with some sort of diffuser. The following link is my images submitted to photoblink, there's a lot of bug shots lately taken with a Canon 100mm USM macro utilizing a Canon 420ex with homemade diffuser/bouncer:

I have tried a few with fill in flash but the internal flash is a bit too harsh for my liking, I will be looking into that.
