**Blast from the past of 2010**
Having pushed the Sony H2 as far s I could, I began noticing the limitations it was enforcing - and hence the itch to buy a DSLR began, and after much research zeroed in on the Canon 450D, my cousin's hubby handed me his "paperweight" Canon 18-55mm. Decided we'd go out for a shoot and I suggested Yosemite - and quite surprisingly he agreed to the idea.
All batteries charged, and with my very first DSLR headed to the landscape made very famous by Ansel Adams himself. Each turn begged me to stop since I'd see a frame in it, but my co-shooter was having none of it. He wanted to replicate images of the well known frames, got me wondering "Do we really make images, or do we look to emulate/replicate all the time?"
Not having wheels of my own did hamper me and we stuck to the rather well-known vantage points/views
The famous "Tunnel view"
Half dome
A stream with some remnant snow
A reversed reflection of Sentinel rock
Would love to know what you think of these
Cheers,
