I want to get into video and and am looking at several cameras...

As usual you start at a price point and seem to go up ...so i was looking at:

Canon G20
Sony PJ 650.... liked the low light light videos I saw vs G20
Sony CX900..seems stacked..big sensor, built in ND filters, massive storage.

What I am looking for is a mixture of story telling on vacations, family memories, grand kids and an occasional job about 6 times a year which would require low light in restaurants and clubs.

Nikon D850 and a bunch of stuff, I have learned a lot here when I was shooting Canon, staying to keep learning..."Every time I set up I learn something new".

Wait a 3-4 months and go for the 1st ever upcoming (to be announced soon) Sony Medium Format commercial camcoder, CX1800.
It will be a frickin beast.
Full-frame sensor, with astonishing resolution (50mb-100mb/s options) and best ever ISO performance on any digital device Sony claims.
To be more precise, the ISO range will be from 25 (yes u read it right, 25) all the way (seat down not to fall) 819,200.
They claim its ISO will be 4 stops better then the best 6d DSLR (meaning u can easily use an ISO of say 100,000 and it will look pristine, meaning u will never even need a lighting, even in a night club.
Come with built in ND filter.
10 year warrant.
All at a reasonably affordable price of $2,200.
Oh and by the way, I lied about everything. haha.
