Winter whitetails

A couple of young whitetails hanging out down by my pasture. So far they are enjoying a fairly mild winter.

Nice shot Terry, they do look to be in great shape. The small one in front looks to have twisted around on it's back legs to get a much better look at something that has both their attention.

You have a keen eye Steve. They are watching my black lab. Sometimes the yearlings will walk right up to her. They seem to all get along fine with her.

Thanks SJC. My pasture is used late spring thru mid fall for horse grazing. With good winter snows, it becomes my X-country ski course.
