In our local small town we have an artist guild that has a fund raiser every year to help pay for the old house in town that they bought to display their wares in that are for sale. Some artist friends have been pressuring me to print up and frame some photos for the fund raiser so I guess I'll give it a try. Been working on a few and was just wanting a second opinion as to if they are ready to be printed. Don't know for sure what happened in the transfer and downloading process but they all had matts and frames, water marks etc that some seemed to have lost in the airwaves. They all have had some sort of post processing such as saturation, sharpening, softening etc and all that artsy stuff so give your honest opinion.

I would drop #2 and #4 because of the interfering branches and dark shadow areas, respectively. The others are quite stunning though, in my opinion.

Last year the good people in this forum showed me the way lol. In other words get good with a clone tool and make all the branches and sticks that trash a really great shot. That is what I do now. And they were all right

Hope you don't mind, I really like this shot.

Thanks Allan and Jeff, appreciate the honesty. I see where you are coming from with the blue jay shot but I really like the hawk looking natural in the branches. I did however apply "softening" to
help hide the branches and blend them in and give it a dreamy kind of look. Wonder why the watermarks are dropping off of all of them and some of the post dropping of just some of them????

Here are a couple more:

#1 isn't showing up anymore.

But I definitely think 3, 5 and the starling are great candidates for printing. IMO #4 needs a bit more tweaking, particularly in the shadow detail.

A couple more are not showing up also.
