Hi there, I shot the 2 attached photos using an off camera 580EXII and Yongnuo 622C trigger in ETTL mode.

1st shot (top) was shot AWB and gave me 6486K temp and the second 2 hours later (right b4 sunset) gave me a 5998K temp. I liked the warmness on the first much better.

Any recommendations for achieving a good color temp, fairly consistent either AWB or manual white balance? I know the flash temp won't change. This is an easy fix in post; but I'm new using the 580, and want too figure it out!

Don't beat yourself up. Shoot a WB target so you have a starting point. Also, shooting in mixed light creates it's on nightmares. I shoot everything at 5000K, then adjust in post.
