'Poll': What one helped speed your workflow the most

For newspaper or other sport shooters working deadlines, what workflow process made the most difference?

Corollary question: how many frames do you typically shoot for a typical HS event/game?

Is there an all of the above option? Honestly they all go hand in hand. Tagging in camera saves me loads of time not having to import all of the images I don't need. Import and export adjustments are pretty self explanatory; simple, but they definitely speed up my workflow. Finally using PhotoMechanic code replacements save tons of time captioning.

I typically shoot around 500-600 frames give or take depending on the match-up for a D1 College Basketball game.

In general, I realize, 'All of the above' are used by most sports shooters.
What I was trying to assess, was if you have to pick one, what be be the most effective, then next,...

Trying to help new shooters, including myself, avoid drowning when drinking from a fire hose or being tossed in the deep end of the pool .

I second this.

The workflow i use at work is pretty well predefined, i would love to use Photomechanic though.

#1 helps me the most, although i typically create a voice tag with pertinent info (like player numbers) making it easier to look up the info later.
The voice tags are also easier to see in bridge
