I have a less than year old 5D MKIII that started giving me random hot green or hot pink images, & I sent it in to CPS. they replaced the main circuit board. Less than a month later, I got another pink image, sent it back in, & they replaced the CMOS sensor. What I'm wondering is, in the future if I want to sell the camera, will these repairs be looked at as something positve or negative? What would you think if you saw that disclosed about a camera you were considering purchasing?

If the camera is really fixed U/G then I for one would be happy to purchase it a year down the road. In fact why feel the need to disclose the current problem when selling provided Canon do properly fix it?

Richard, I would feel I needed to disclose if the usual " HAve you ever had any problems with it?" question was asked. But I would def tell them I have the paperwork that shows Canon did the repairs.

To be honest, if I were looking for a used MK III, I would keep looking. That might not make sense, but that's my gut feeling

I would pass on it as well. To be fair, I dont really buy used equipment often. I have though, worked in the computer field for 7 years in the past. There is such a thing as electronic equipment that has the devil in it. There were always certain computers that would come back multiple times, sometimes even after replacing every component. Im not saying this is your case, just the nature of the beast.
