Can Canon's Digital Lens Optimizer be used for a batch of photos, or is it per photo?

Curious about that too.

Yes it will. Just tried it. Highlight all the images you want to apply it to and hit tune. It is very slow.

I'd like to try it with two different lens types but it appears Canon has not yet submitted the data for the for 24-70 MK2 yet. Most mixed lens shots are with this and lens and the 70-200 MK2 but I'm pretty sure it would work.

After you setup the lens corrections in one photo you can copy the recipe to the clipboard, then chose all the photos you want to apply that correction to and paste recipe from clipboard.

I think that's what you were getting at anyway.

I was not sure about the recipe part. Not sure how to verify it works. Using the method I tried showed me the progress of the highlighted files. I know it works when you make several adjustments to the RAW tab and other adjustments. Makes sense and it would be faster. You only need one pass using recipe.

Update to the latest DPP (I have 3.13.51.1). The latest lens updates only seem to appear in the latest DPP versions. The version I listed has the "EF 24-70mm F2.8 II USM" showing up as a profile available for download for me.

Not sure how to verify it works.

Once a lens correction is applied there's a small lens icon which appears on the thumbnail. Sometimes the lens corrections doesn't show up right away in the photo displayed in DPP, but it will be applied to the output file.

Yep, you can move through photos quite fast in DPP using recipes. And as someone else pointed out, it's worth it to go to the Canon website and make sure you have the latest greatest version of DPP.
