lighthouse storm

Just lately we have had storm after storm, with average wind speeds of around 70mph. So as you can imagine I have lots of shots of crashing waves over the lighthouse, and wanted something different. C+C welcome.

Looks more like a painting then a photo, nicely done.

Great feeling to the shot. One almost expects to see a sailing ship fighting to stay off of the rocks.

The hard light is very dramatic.

Fantastic shot Paul. My only advice would be to put that lighthouse on a thirds line. An image like this works well for that rule. Otherwise, damn!
