Yup, as I predicted this is expected to be under $250. Flash Havoc is reporting under $200.

Being able to have a single wireless controller for both is going to be awesome. I am considering phasing/replacing my strobes with the newish Godox QT600 series which also uses the FT-16 controller; just need Edward to start branding them too.

This is going to be a great year for technological advances in lighting! My thing is they do not have a trigger that does ettl, power control, and hss all in one yet. Once that happens I would switch to their radio trigger. Though honestly all I realy want is a trigger that does remote power control and HSS in one as I really do not use ettl off camera.

Still looks very interesting especially since its Lithium Ion. Im not to concerned with the transmitter being TTL.. However the ability to control the existing flashes would be nice. This flash would be nice on camera because of recycle times. Cameras: Canon 60D and 20D

For the 3'rd party flash noob (just have a single 430 exii). Does waiting for the "cheetah" brand name make it better? I don't mean that sarcastically either, is there a reason to get the cheetah over the godox or the neewer?

Try contacting Neewer for a problem that you have with either an order, or heaven forbid something that is not functioning properly. Warrantee?
