I have a few that I have done in a similar fashion. They seem to be popular when I take them to art shows.

I'm generally not a fan of water or paint drops. Nothing inherently wrong with them, I just get the impression that too many people just do the same thing as everyone else and don't really do anything NEW with it.

This looks new to me. Really interesting and creative take on the paint drop. I like it a lot.

I agree. After a while, they all begin to look the same. I continually try to think of new ways to make it different. Sometimes I succeed, other times... well, not so much.
