This guy let me get right under him as he perched on a light pole, hence the funky crop.

After he flew off I tracked him to this next sunny spot. Looks happy and content doesn't he ? :cool:

This "underexposure" thing seems to be a recurring theme with me. I keep promising myself to study the histograms as suggested by others, but I get so danged excited about getting out there and shooting the pictures I lose steam when I get back to the computer.
