Hi all, just got my 6D today and took a couple of pics. I see some lines across some of my images, sometime sometimes I only see part of of the image taken. I thought it was my new Sandisk SD card so i changed it with another Sandisk SD card, but to my surprize, it's still the same. My SD cards are the new Sandisk 45mb/sec "gold" colored ones.
I have already reformatted the cards twice, and also reset the camera twice.

Here are sample images:

It could also be a bad card reader.

Card reader? These images are the same images that I see on the back of the camera. I transfer the files directly from camera using the supplied usa cable.

Have you used your camera near any lasers/light shows?

Can you return/exchange it? Is it new? If they look like that on camera, I'd be worried.

Can't imagine any reason this would happen. Change lens/filters etc.
Or send it in.

Looks like a memory card issue. Try another card, format it in camera, and see what happens.

No, no, no! This isn't good.

1. Stay calm. Try to relax about it (which isn't what I would do. I'd go nuts. I'm a freak).

2. Send it back. If you used good SD cards it should work just fine. New cameras shouldn't do that.

3. Call the retailer ASAP. If they are good then they will make it right.

I wish you the best.

Take it back tomorrow. That doesn't look good.

It looks like it is the camera, I just tried a 3rd SD card which I have used on my point and shoot... it's going back to the "rain forest"

I think I will just save more and go for the 5D MKIII

Return it if you tried several cards. It's broken.

Hook up EOS utility and do a tethered shoot to see what file gets transfered

that's one thing I was trying to do but I'm stuck. My PC has the software and it connects to my 7D but not the 6D, so if you or anyone can shed a light on this, please do... thanks
