With an electronic aperture control? Alan I had a close look at the lens also. It is indeed a newish auto focus lens. This lens will still mount to a F3 but naturally auto focus will be eliminated. I don't know enough about the current Nikkor lenses to comment on the aperture control. More than likely won't work. Jurgen
