cicopo Goldmember More info | Dec 06, 2015 15:36 | #3050 I really don't shoot trains but I make an exception if the weather co operates when the CP Holiday Train passes through the area. I'm posting last years shot which was taken while standing on a frozen marsh & this years shot for about 100 meters further away but with a bit of ambient light for a better shutter speed. cicopo Goldmember More info | Dec 07, 2015 08:23 | #3052 Thank You. I had to wait 3 years after getting the idea to try to capture it crossing the bridge. I wouldn't have been able to see it those first 2 years thanks to blowing snow / white out conditions. When the time did come i had no idea how many cars would be lit up but I was able to find how wide the bridge was thanks to the internet. cicopo Goldmember More info | Dec 07, 2015 21:46 | #3056 I don't know whether CP's contest is applicable for the US side of the tour but they have a photo contest that gives out 4 tickets to the winners in each category to ride from a local stop to the next one. If you didn't know about it it's worth investigating IF you have a lot of Facebook friends. They can vote every day so he / she who has the most friends probably wins.
