So glad I don't have to work in the rain anymore. The engineer is nice and dry, but the conductor on the back end of this was getting soaked spotting the cars into the UPS facility.

My dad was a conductor on freight trains, but that was back in the day of cabooses! He retired in 1975 from Penn Central.

Sometimes you just get the itch to climb the side of a mountain in waist deep snow...

UP 602 is westbound with a flanger yesterday as it passes through Yuba Gap on Donner Pass. Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays to all.
