I tried to take pictures from the window but the foreground was too distracting- all blurred.

I took the Acela to Washington DC a few years ago and took my garmin with me to monitor the speed and we were hitting 150+ through Connecticut and part of New Jersey. At Canton Junction I might have been a bit optimistic on the speed, it may have been closer to 100-120 but it was moving especially when I could have stuck my arm out and touched it! No guard rails or anything, just a warning bell and a voice "Train Approaching stand back" That sure does not sound very safe at all!! Charles
