Your new and old spots look very well chosen, 2005. Two very nice images.


Canon EOS R, RF24-105/4, EF16-35/4/L/IS, TS-Es in 24mm (gen.2) and 50mm Macro (gen.3), and a humble EF70-300/F4-5.6/IS/II.

Yea the illinois central blue devil leading i had to get at this spot. I had to use a machete and hack up some weeds to clear it a bit. The second shot, what an amazing area. I mean non stop trains with amtrak and metro north. Hoping to catch the csx train from selkirk to oak pooint here soon.

It was a re-qualification train out of Grand Central Terminal for Amtrak crews to re-qualify on Metro North trackage in the event emergency track work is needed in Penn Station again this year.
