Built in 1925 it cost £1250 to build. The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is a 15" gauge railway that runs for 13.5 miles along the coast of Kent. I took this photo near Mayarí in 2013, so it looks like fifty years and two generations later the same story is still going on. I'm beginning to think that every good photo contains a story, and that gives it its evocative feeling whether or not we know what the story is. I don't know anything. But I know other things.
