Cool caboose I saw in Ardmore, OK awhile back. Canon AE-1, Kentmere 100. Developed in Caffenol, not sure what I did wrong with this roll, most likely undissolved NaCo3 and fingerprints on the emulsion. I had a hard time getting this roll of film on the reel.

That was one of the single level coaches on loan from New Jersey Transit. A long way from home.

[QUOTE=mikeeagle;19169359]This Nez Cassé (broken nose), named Nicole, is the former 1824 of NS (Dutch Railways). Strukton Rail bought 4 former NS locos to be converted into hybrids. Normally they draw power from the overhead line, but battery packs will make it possible to run these locos on non-electrfied track. Dutch railways are powered by green electricity, hence the caption Co2 neutraal on the side of the locomotive.

Actually they own them. Cal Trans (CDTX) purchased 14 of the "Comet" coaches from NJ Transit for 75K each for use on the San Joaquin train between Oakland and Bakersfield as they didn't have enough Bi-Levels to add more trains. They spent 20 million refurbishing them from commuter coaches for inter-city use.

Thought I was gonna get something other than a BNSF, then I looked closer! Seems like BNSF owns everything nowadays.
