I didnt say they shouldnt be allowed, i just wondered, do Nikon not have a compareable site for Nikon users, it wasnt a complaint it was a question:-):-)

But why would you want to segregate Nikon shooters, or for that matter, an individual who uses ANYTHING other platform than Canon, or suggest they use another forum?

Perhaps, the reason for the use of this site is because of the individuals who post their work here, not the equipment they employ.

Ive just said all i did was ask a question, you seem to want to turn this into a argument, which it wasnt intended, i hope this is the last of this now;-)a

A quick check of the forums sections shows there has been a Nikon section for over 11 years & multiple other brands have been incorporated for at least 6 years.
Fortunately this is NOT a Canon forum, even if it did start out that way in the dim & distant digital past.

There are very few places where manufacturer specific features significantly affect what a photographer can do with a camera. I don't know of any that are Canon specific, With a little tinkering other systems can even match the MPE-65 which I think is nearest to being Canon's unique feature.

Normally these IC trains between Eindhoven and The Hague are running in sandwich formation, one loco at the front and one loco at the rear, both providing traction. In this case however the rear loco is just being pulled along, no pantograph up and external rear lights.

Probably my last train shot posted, taken from the west. I'm rapidly running out of time as my moving POD arrives in a few days, and I am shutting down my processing computer to pack it up. I will miss living right by two Class I railroads (UP and BNSF, especially in Franklin Canyon, seen here), but look forward to new opportunities from New England. I hope to have some new stuff up by late May. Cheers!
