What a fun day. I was out birding yesterday and heard a train whistle. It was far enough away to give me time to drive to the RR crossing get some photos.

I've been wanting to recreate a childhood memory by putting some coins on the track. I remembered how they would be hot to the touch after the train passed.

Anyway, it turned out better than I had hoped. The sky from an approaching storm provided a sweet background. The coins worked just like years ago. Most important I made new memories . Pretty happy with the train photo too!
