Still a few Autumn colours around as another steam excursion heads for the Yorvik Xmas Market, this time it's ex GWR No.7029 "Clun Castle" on a cold misty morning.

Yeah, the tracks are on a tree covered man made hill, about 15 feet above ground level. This is right next to the tent church I posted in another thread. I heard the train coming but didn’t have time to climb the hill for a better photo. Image hosted by forum (1188063) © Terry McDaniel [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Inspeqtor I was hit more than 15 times More info | I also thank you Dave for your thoughts here. You may have read on here that I have said my Father was a railroader starting with The New York Central Company in I believe 1935 retiring from Penn Central in 1975. I have several of his railroad keys, and a Passenger Train Uniform with NYC buttons as well as P-C buttons. I also have 2 Railroad Hats that go with the uniform. I never saw him wear the uniform. After I was born he was riding a caboose and his title was always Conductor of the freight train. Charles
