Amazing photo and video; thank you for sharing. How did you secure that video camera?

That ROCKS!!! One of the best railroad images I have seen in some time. Since JT has selected "image edit and repost ok", and lately I have been working with Machinery 2 HDR, I thought this might be a fun shot to try the new software (which is very good). Y'all have a look. It may be jacked up on the high side... Hope you enjoy. Once again JT, this image is fantastic.

Ok, this pales in comparison to the locomotive blasting through the snow (one of the best train pics ever!), but here's my humble offering.

That train looks familiar - Is that the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad? Rode it several times.

That's the one. This was taken at the station in Cumberland.

The driver obviously didn't like to be photographed

---or maybe he's trying to signal HELP LET ME OUT! :p

Hehe, actually, in the US, the "driver" or as we call it over here, the engineer, sits on the right side of the cab. It was the conductor, and he was actually waving to me :) Some crews are tolerant of us railfans (also known as foamers), some not so much, but I sit at this spot a lot after work, so they are used to seeing me.
